Sailmaker's Seam Rubber
Description
BOLDLY CARVED WOOD SEAMER. Quite certain it's made from teak wood. Center portion done in deep carved, rope twist motif. Top with classic crown/monkey fist knot. 4 1/2" l. x 1 1/2" w. Condition very good. Nice deep age color throughout. Circa 1840. Very nice example if its type.
